Salehoo, along with Worldwide Brands, is one of the top selling wholesaler directories on the Internet – and has been since it was founded 12 years ago in 2005. With over a million products avaliable to search through from more than 8,000 wholesalers and dropshippers and a low entry cost initially, Salehoo is popular for good reasons. But how does Salehoo compare to it's number one competitor, Worldwide Brands? That's what I'm going to write about today.
Salehoo vs Worldwide Brands
Both Salehoo and Worldwide Brands are wholesaler and dropshipper directories, and both verify all suppliers before adding them to their databases – a process that weeds out all the scams and means that you can feel safe and sure you're dealing with legitimate and reliable suppliers.
Both also have around 8,000 suppliers in searchable databases, but the first difference is the number of products each lists from these suppliers. While Sale Hoo lists around 1.6 million products, Worldwide Brands has over 15 million – a huge amount more.
Another key difference is the price – Salehoo costs $67 per year for membership and Worldwide Brands charge $299 for lifetime membership.
Initially Salehoo is cheaper, but after a few years works out to be more expensive. Also if you divide the membership cost by the number of products, which I think it a good measure of value in this case, then Worldwide Brands works out much cheaper.
Which is the best?
In my opinion World Wide Brands clearly offers the best value for money, and so that's my top pick of the two – although they are both good directories.
